 | Jean Leblond, President/CEOA true entrepreneur, Major Wire President/CEO Jean Leblond has always been a leader in whatever he has set his sights on. Working for manufacturers while obtaining his degree in engineering from the University of Sherbrooke in Quebec, Canada, Mr. Leblond realized early on the importance of helping customers get the products and results they need. After graduation, Mr. Leblond was a Project Engineer for snowmobile manufacturers, as well as a large paper manufacturer. He received his MBA and went on to work in the extrusion business for window components as a Plant Manager. Continuing to rise to the top, Mr. Leblond then became Vice President of Operations for a manufacturer of sealed glass units. In 1990, Mr. Leblond bought Major Wire with a financial partner. He became the sole owner of Major Wire as President and CEO in 1997. Since then, he has helped bring producers better screening efficiency with Major Wire’s revolutionary Flex-Mat® 3 technology and other innovative screening products. |
 | Gary Pederson, Vice President SalesGary Pederson has more than 35 years of experience working in the agriculture, construction, aggregate and mining markets. Starting in 1971, Mr. Pederson was a Salesman/Equipment Operator for an agricultural food, grain and chemical supplier. He went on to work at TCI Power Products, Inc. as a Sales and Production Coordinator, and then was promoted to Product Manager, aiding in the development of one of the company’s most successful products still on the market today. As National Sales Manager for TCI Power Products, Mr. Pederson helped the company double its sales and expand the dealer market. He then joined Gehl IC Group as National Sales Manager. Prior to joining Major Wire, Mr. Pederson was hired at what is now Kolberg-Pioneer, Inc., a manufacturer of aggregate processing equipment. As its Sales & Marketing Manager, he increased sales by creating a better dealer network and better dealer training. |
 | André Thibault, Vice President OperationsAndré Thibault joined Major Wire in March 2004, with more than 25 years of plant management experience in various manufacturing markets in Canada and the United States. Before joining Major Wire, Mr. Thibault was the Chief Operating Officer for a manufacturer of woolen fabric, improving plant quality and on-time delivery, while implementing the plant’s ISO 9001:2000 certification. In addition, Mr. Thibault has worked in various food processing plants as General Manager, Plant Manager and Operations Manager. He is responsible for the Operations Department at Major Wire’s Candiac facility. Mr. Thibault has established a quality control system and improved production efficiency to give producers better lead times for their Major Wire products, and he also is an integral part of Major Wire’s ISO 9001:2008 certification. |
